Dear Motherland,

I know that you already fought for your peace and freedom for a long time. You’ve served your people with the best that you can. You tried to provide everything that your people need. Wonderful sceneries, rich agriculture, abundant natural resources, and an astounding culture. These are just some of your distinctive qualities.

I am one of your blessed dwellers and I’ve benefited a lot  from all of your sufferings. So, I thank you for being strong for your citizens and I’m sorry if I didn’t fight for you the way you did for us.

Many of us might have shouted for your sake but I guess our unity is one of the greatest drawbacks in this fight. Right now, it’s hard for us to end up with a great solution for each of us has different thoughts, principles, motives and priorities. I guess we often forget that this fight is for you so you can keep living for us.

Honestly, I don’t understand why it’s hard to come up with something that would benefit everyone. Some of our leaders are doing great to help the people in their scope of government, unfortunately, not all leaders think the same way. It’s not that different when it comes to the locals. There are some who cooperate and do their own part as an individual but not everyone are alike.

Maybe, we simply don’t share the same vision and goal to create a better and more peaceful environment for you or for the other innocent citizens especially the young ones. It’s sad that they will be raised seeing this chaotic set up made by your dwellers than appreciating all that you can give to them.

However, like them, I am still hoping that time will come and everyone will finally see how beautiful you are and finally know how to take care of you properly.

For now, I want to say sorry for I know you don’t deserve this. Thank you because I know you’re still trying hard to protect us and keep our home safe. I pray that we can work this out together and may my other fellowmen remember your worth too, especially those who were in power and position to lead our beloved country.
