“Can you meet me again?”

Those words

That was one of the most beautiful combination of words I can think of

In line with “I love you”

And “I miss you”

“Can we meet again….”

For it subsumes all the longingness

The sadness

The excitement

The interest

The hope

It makes me look forward, always

You make me

Wait!

No.

Scratch that.

That shouldn’t be.

Sorry.

Baby,

Please don’t meet me again

Please be with me, always

Please be mine

For I can’t stand on the thought of not having you

Of the thought that I won’t be the one to make you smile

To make you happy

I want to be the first person to see the sunshine touch your eyes

I want my scent be the first fragrance that your nose would smell

I want to be the first lips that greets you good morning

Be the first hand to hold you

Be the first body to cuddle and warm you

No greens

I want to be the first one who’s there with you

And tell you how beautiful the morning is

For you are the first sunshine that touches my system

And you will always be
